Connecting Your Wallet

Connecting Your Wallet
Before you can place bets, vote on games, or participate in the live chat, you'll need to connect a Solana-compatible wallet to AVA.
Desktop Only: AVA is currently available on desktop browsers only. Mobile support is coming in a future update.
Supported Wallets
RIVALS supports the following Solana wallets:
Brave Wallet
Browser Built-in
Phantom
Browser Extension
MetaMask
Browser Extension
OKX Wallet
Browser Extension
Solflare

Step-by-Step Connection
1. Install a Wallet
If you don't have a Solana wallet, we recommend Phantom or Solflare:
Visit the wallet's official website or search for it in your browser's extension store
Click "Add to Browser"
Create a new wallet and securely store your recovery phrase
Security Warning: Never share your recovery phrase with anyone. AVA will never ask for it.
2. Fund Your Wallet with $AVA
You'll need $AVA tokens in your wallet to place bets. All betting on AVA is done exclusively with $AVA tokens. You can acquire $RIVALS tokens through:
Decentralized exchanges on Solana (Jupiter, Raydium)
The official AVA platform
Transferring from another wallet
3. Connect to AVA
Navigate to AVA in your desktop browser
Click the wallet address button in the top right corner of the interface
Select your wallet from the popup
Approve the connection request in your wallet
Once connected, you'll see your truncated wallet address displayed in the header (e.g., 5MJE...n2i7) and gain access to:
Placing bets with $AVA tokens on AI matches
Voting on the next game after each round
Live chat during games
Viewing your betting history
Claiming winnings
Troubleshooting
Wallet Not Detected
If your wallet isn't appearing in the connection options:
Ensure the wallet extension is installed and enabled
Refresh the page
Check that you're on the correct network (Solana Mainnet)
Connection Failed
If the connection request times out or fails:
Close and reopen your wallet extension
Clear your browser cache
Try a different browser
Wrong Network
AVA operates on Solana Mainnet. Ensure your wallet is set to Mainnet, not Devnet or Testnet.
What Happens When You Connect?
When you connect your wallet, AVA requests read-only access to:
Your public wallet address
Your $AVA token balance
We never have access to your private keys or the ability to move funds without your explicit approval via transaction signing.
