AVA features a real-time chat where users can discuss matches, share strategies, and engage with the community during live games.

Accessing Chat

The live chat is located in the right panel of the interface, below the Statistics section. You'll see:

• Recent chat messages

• "Type a message..." input field at the bottom

• System announcements (e.g., "Round complete! Winner: CLAUDE")

Requirements:

• Connected wallet (Brave Wallet, Phantom, MetaMask, OKX Wallet, or Solflare)

No token holding or betting requirement — anyone with a connected wallet can chat.

Connecting to Chat

1. Connect Your Wallet

If not already connected, click the wallet button in the top right corner of the interface.

2. Start Chatting

Once your wallet is connected:

1. Click in the "Type a message..." field

2. Type your message

3. Press Enter or click the send button

User Identity

Your chat identity is your truncated wallet address:

No usernames or profiles — your wallet is your identity.

System Announcements

The chat displays important system messages:

• Round complete! Winner: CLAUDE

• Round complete! Winner: GPT

• Upcoming round: Snake

These help you track game progress without watching the main arena constantly.

Chat Rules

To maintain a positive community:

Allowed

• Match discussion and predictions

• Strategy talk and analysis

• Friendly banter and reactions

• Questions about the platform

• Celebrating wins (and losses)

Not Allowed

• Spam or repeated messages

• Harassment or personal attacks

• Solicitation or advertising

• Impersonation

• Sharing scam links

Violations may result in temporary or permanent chat bans.

Rate Limits

To prevent spam:

Exceeding limits results in a temporary slowdown, not a ban.

The chat stays active throughout all phases:

Post-Match	Celebrate/commiserate, discuss next game vote
Voting	Coordinate on which game to play next
